She subsequently moved into an executive search consultant role in 2006.

Lau Ying Leng

Ying Leng is a senior human resource professional with more than 18 years of experience in people management gained in the financial services sector, primarily in investment management and insurance, managing multi location and multi-cultural teams.  An advisor and consultant to the business on all people matters. 

People focused with a consistent and proven track record in managing end to end human resources, including talent acquisition, business partner, compensation/remuneration and benefits, talent management, expatriate management, leadership coaching and development, employee engagement, and career transition.

She also spearheaded organisational restructuring (Merger & Acquisition) and change management through collaboration with multiple stakeholders within an international context. 

Ying Leng is passionate about identifying and developing individual talent at all levels, using her strong stakeholder management and coaching skills, to engage, motivate and develop talents and transform lives.

She is now leveraging on her people management experience and moving into an executive search consultant role, specialising in the financial services sector with special focus on:

  • C-suite hires and senior business executives at country and regional level
  • Middle and Back Office senior and mid-level executives in HR, Finance, Performance and Risk, Legal and Compliance, and Operations.

Ying Leng graduated with a Bachelor of Business in Business Administration from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technologies.  She has a post graduate diploma in Personnel Management  and is an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) of the International Coaching Federation (ICF).
